Data Presentation
ESUMS boasts some of the highest performance data in New Haven. Below please find a presentation on our data from the past five years.
Scope & Sequence
We are both a middle and high school. Below please find an outline of our courses for each grade level and content area. This document reflects the current offerings and anticipated offerings for the 2014-15 school year. Just like our units of study, this too is a "living" document and can be adjusted and updated as needed.

Accessing ESUMS Curriculum
Greetings, the purpose of this blog is to give you access to the units of study created by teachers past and present at the Engineering and Science University Magnet School.
Each page represents a portion of our school's teacher developed units of study which seek to incorporate elements of STEM into each content area. As the name of our school indicates, our school has a strong focus on Engineering. We incorporate the Engineering Design process outlined in our Project Lead the Way curriculum into our ELA and Social Studies lessons whenever applicable.

We have developed a saying: "Writers, are Engineers who build with words" to show connections in all areas into how Engineering impacts multiple facets of our lives.
